COLON CLEANSE WEIGHT LOSS - MYTHS, FACTS, RESOURCES

COLON CLEANSE WEIGHT LOSS is something which can be very beneficial, somewhat controversial, and not without its "snake oil salesmen"... there are things to be aware of, things to watch out for, and things to educate ourselves in.

Perhaps one of the biggest controversial subjects of all in this regard, is the concept of "mucoid plaque". This is perhaps the hugest and silliest confusion-inspiring thing that I hope to shed some light upon in this lens page. Truly, the most confounding thing about this, is that there are both hoax and truth attached to this particularly sticky subject (no pun intended), and it is my strong belief that this matter of colon cleanse weight loss should be absolutely cleared up once and for all.

Please keep in mind that the pictures you will see on this page are fairly disgusting!!

MUCOID PLAQUE - FACT OR FICTION?

MUCOID PLAQUE... Truth Mixed with a Lie...

MUCOID PLAQUE is a source of heated debate from both sides of the fence. One side claims that what you see pictured here at right is "mucoid plaque", a term coined by a practitioner of alternative medicine, and the other, the side of modern medicine, states that such simply does not exist... that what you see here is actually a result of the medications taken to rid one's self of this imagined malady, "mucoid plaque", the medication itself actually producing what you see here.

The truth? Both are correct in a way... but how can this be?

The truth is that "mucoid plaque", or whatever term you'd prefer to use, whether officially coined or not, actually does exist, to some extent - but it is NOT that which you see in the picture here.

Also, the statement that the medications taken produces what you see here in this photo is ALSO true... to an extent.

Confused yet? Allow me to explain...

MUCOID PLAQUE - WHAT'S THE TRUTH HERE?

MUCOID PLAQUE IS NOT WHAT PEOPLE CLAIM IT TO BE

MUCOID PLAQUE is what many claim to be a harmful blocking membrane of gunk which clogs up the intestinal vili, causing potentially fatal malabsorption of food.

This is only partially true.

There does exist a film of mucous, perhaps about a millimeter thick or less, which protects the fragile intestinal vili - that's its job. It's supposed to be there. This is not "mucoid plaque".

However... while this should naturally be self-sustaining, renewing itself every three days or so (much like the mucal inner lining of the stomach), this isn't always the case. Sometimes, in less-than-healthy people, parts of it can become old and stiffened, even stringy or rope-like. This is what "mucoid plaque" should refer to, and not that which is pictured at right here.

So then... what the hell is this stuff??

Well, it's kind of like "FLY PAPER".

No, really - allow me to explain further...

CLEANSING COLONIC - THE TRUTH, IN A NUTSHELL...

And an explaination of this particular cleansing colonic lie...

CLEANSING COLONIC pills that help you eliminate this gunk, well, it's just like the medical professionals say - those pills actually make what you see in the picture here - for the most part. Natural, ingestible clays (such as the type taken orally to combat food poisoning) are one of the ingredients (besides medicinal herbs), and when taken orally, sort of foams up and expands in your colon, often taking up the shape of your intestines as though they were a mold.

In so doing, it grabs and captures old, dried-up mucous material, candida yeast clusters, worms, parasites, parasite eggs, and other harmful things, and gums it all up in the mass that you then pass out of your body - basically, an all-out cleansing colonic remedy. The result is a soft, almost rubbery material, oftentimes looking much like an inside-out negative of your colon, which has thoroughly cleaned you out.

The statement in the text of the picture at the right here, is only completely true if you take such cleansing colonic pills, just as most doctors will tell you, but within that mess is ALSO anything that had been in your colon which just doesn't belong there, caught like flies on flypaper. So in any pictures like this that you see here, no, the entirety of it all is NOT "mucoid plaque" - it's a rubbery cast of your innards, but yes, it DOES also have, caught within it, anything dirtying up your colon.

Common sense alone shows that this can be beneficial - those who use this technique DO actually feel much better, and the weight they lose as shown on their bathroom scales is proof that the feeling is not merely psychological. The LIE here, is in people stating that the entirety of this rubbery gunk has been inside you, and thusly creating the deep concern which sells products oh, so very well.

This by the way, when carefully worded, and as long as the product is healthy and effective, is just thought of as being good business sense (ppffthth go figure) - even very caring, well-meaning, actual doctors who promote this cleansing colonic for good health try to reach many people out there in this drastic manner (being careful not to actually lie in their statements), because as medical professionals, they've seen far too many sever cases die without it.

And so, nevertheless, all of that having now been said, it is indeed a very safe, and ingeniously effective means of clearing out debris which can be harmful if left in your colon... and in some extreme cases (especially where parasitic worms, candida yeast and such are concerned), even potentially fatal. Thusly, alarmist fibs aside, this is quite a very healthy route to take indeed if you need a colon cleanse.

HUMAN BODY PARASITES

What kinds of HUMAN BODY PARASITES are there??

HUMAN BODY PARASITES are innumerable, and all are potentially quite dangerous. Using the above mentioned technique to remove them however is quite efficient at the task, as well as drinking certain herbal teas in conjunction with this.

One of the more common varieties of human body parasites is Paragonimus Westermani, which is often found in raw, undercooked or pickled fish, such as salmon, trout, perch, pike, whitefish, grayling, ruff, eel, etc. - so watch out, campers and sashimi lovers!

The ease at which these human body parasites spread is enough to understand just how many of us (most, actually) may at one degree or another have these within our bodies right now. As an example, the above mentioned fish are host to the plerocercoid larvae, which then move on to the next host, we humans who eat them. For human body parasites like these, 5 to 6 weeks is all the larvae needs to mature into the adult worm. During this time, some larvae are passed in stool, but not necessarily all of them.

This is why those of us with pets shut the toilet cover to keep our dogs or cats from drinking out of the toilet - vets tell us this is the easiest way for our pets to get parasites... in other words, secondarily from US - where else?? Human body parasites can harm our pets, too.

THE INTESTINAL WORMS HUMANS CARRY

SOME INTESTINAL WORMS HUMANS CAN GET ARE DEADLY

THE INTESTINAL WORMS HUMANS CAN CARRY are everywhere, even on fruits, vegetables and soil. One type, known as Ascaris (Ascaris Lumbricoides), pictured at the right, are a parasitic roundworm.

Roundworms exist all over the world, the kinds of which number in the hundreds of thousands - Ascaris being the most common among those that inhabit human hosts.

Being infested with these is called Ascariasis, and the worst part of this is that there are no obvious symptoms, until there are so many in the intestines clogging you up, elsewhere blocking the flow of bile, or breaking down the lungs and causing asthma-like problems, that you obviously have something wrong with you.

One type of area where these can thrive and inhabit humans is anywhere there is raw or untreated sewage, or where such is used to fertilize crops. This is just one likely place, however. Eggs are often found right in soil. Most instances of these intestinal worms humans are being infested with are found in Africa and Asia, but it has also been increasingly found in American human hosts as well - it is now estimated that 4 million people in the United States alone are infested. Though infested people can be found throughout the US, the majority of them seem to be in the rural southeastern areas.

Infestation of the human host begins when people unknowingly swallow eggs from infected food or from soil. The eggs hatch in the upper portion of the small intestine, grow to the larval stage, then swim along the bloodstream to get to the lungs. Coughed up, they then become swallowed and reach maturity in the intestines where they were hatched, and then they mate. Fertilized females produce up to 240,000 microscopic eggs per day.

Basically, intestinal worms + humans = a bad combination.
